Detroit Designers' Showhouse: Children’s Bathroom

Chandra Moore of coG-Studio doesn’t ascribe to the notion that a children’s bathroom should feel childish. “We still wanted it to feel like a zen space, especially for a little boy,” Moore explains. Therefore, her design is luxurious, elevated and intelligently playful. She adds extra functionality by creating an entire wet room with floor-to-ceiling tiles. Any parent knows to expect the unexpected when it comes to kids, and this tiled space makes it easy to complete any task from showers to baths and everything in between. Ample built-in storage ensures every inch is usable yet sleek. Fine details like the tile patterns and thoughtful details make it a space suited to grow with a child instead of one he’ll quickly outgrow.
